However, the way such experience and knowledge contributes to forming their comprehension of nature has not been clarified; especially when it comes to the way the structure of such intellectual awareness is formed in their earlier developmental stages. In this paper, therefore, the author attempts to clarify how that awareness is formed. To do so, children\u0027s awareness of nature in their earlier developmental stages is identified as the \"birth of the intellectual awareness of nature\". Focus is placed on development of the mental construction utilizing the concepts outlined below. The structure of the birth of children\u0027s intellectual awareness of nature will be clarified in light of the \"ultimate developmental proximity zone「発逹の最近接領域」\". Concretely, Vygotsky\u0027s concepts of \u0027unmeditated studying type\u0027 and \u0027response type of studying\u0027 are borrowed, and the function of the structure of the birth of children\u0027s intellectual awareness of nature is analyzed. Also, by applying two interactive concepts, \"informal concepts (life concepts)\" and \"scientific concepts\" as well as \"ultimate developmental proximity zone「発逹の最近接領域」, models of the structure of children\u0027s intellectual awareness of nature are proposed.
