This comprehensive overview analysis clarifies the following points.・Up to now, no such occurrence has been observed as asserted by the critics that education might be tinted by thoughts of a particular political party or that it might lead back to a pre-war absolute imperialism. This tells us that the criticisms of that time did not reflect the voice of the Japanese people but they were made revealing the political and ideological confrontation.・Concerning the criticisms on the teaching methodology of moral education, few evil influences in the early phase of the establishment of the program can be observed. They were caused by the misunderstanding of the moral education.
