The author proposed to set up multipurpose spaces in a temporary school building on the playground and three multipurpose spaces have been made available enabling various experimental activities to take place before the completion of the new building. This study aims at proving the validity of this proposal. The author observed the use of the spaces for the first 3 months and did a questionnaire research on the pupils and teachers asking how they evaluated the multipurpose spaces. The results revealed that they were used for various purposes during regular class hours and extra-class hours, and both pupils and teachers evaluated them positively.
