| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to develop a Japanese version of the forgiveness scale in order to measure dispositional forgiveness rather than non-dispositional forgiveness. We translated the Heartland Forgiveness Scale, which contains subscales to assess forgiveness of self, others, and situations. Exploratory factor analysis revealed that the Forgiveness Scale consisted of two subscales (i.e., Self and Situations, and Others). Results indicated that the Forgiveness Scale had adequate internal consistency. Moreover, both subscales of the Forgiveness Scale were significantly correlated in the expected direction with several measures of forgiveness. | |||||
